Welcome Note |
I’m sure the first question that pops into your mind is – What
is SWMOA? SWMOA is the Southwest Membrane Operators Association – the
newest affiliate of the American Membrane Technology Association
dedicated to the Southwest United States region including, but not
limited to, SWMOA is a membrane operators group that has been formed to provide membrane operators a forum to exchange information, share experiences and knowledge, obtain training and acquire continuing education credits necessary for Operator Certification requirements. SWMOA is an organization that is for membrane operators, run by membrane operators and has been established to meet the technical needs of membrane operators. The number of membrane based treatment plants is growing rapidly in the southwest. With that growth there is a need for an organization dedicated to the education, training and networking of people involved in membrane technology. SWMOA is dedicated to filling that need, with our focus on training membrane plant operators. We also hope to be an information resource for elected officials, utility managers and the public who are using, or considering using, a membrane based treatment plant. SWMOA plans to offer technology transfer workshops, hands-on training, networking sessions and other valuable tools to members. Sharing experiences and insights makes our industry stronger and our technology even more reliable. Please consider becoming one of the charter members of this new organization today. We look forward to your involvement and support! Sincerely, Mehul Patel |
